Distance Sales Agreement

1. Parties

The buyer is the individual or entity who places an order through the OlivoPaw website and accepts these terms and conditions at the time of purchase.

2. Subject of Agreement

This agreement governs the sale and delivery of handcrafted olive wood dog chews and related pet products manufactured by OlivoPaw Workshop. All products are made from natural Turkish olive wood sourced from the Aegean region and may include optional custom laser engraving services.

3. Product Information

All product specifications, including dimensions, weight, and pricing, are displayed on the product pages at the time of purchase. The buyer acknowledges that:

• Natural olive wood products may vary in shape, color, and grain pattern
• Dimensional variations of ±2 cm may occur due to the natural characteristics of wood
• Product images are representative and actual items may differ slightly
• Custom laser engraving is permanent and cannot be altered after production

4. Pricing and Payment

4.1 Prices

All prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD) and include the cost of the product and custom engraving service (if selected). Prices do not include international shipping costs, which are calculated at checkout based on the delivery destination.

4.2 Payment Methods

Payment is processed securely through our payment gateway partner (PayTR). We accept major credit cards and debit cards. Payment must be completed in full before order processing begins.

4.3 Payment Security

All payment transactions are encrypted using 256-bit SSL technology. OlivoPaw does not store complete credit card information on our servers. Payment data is handled exclusively by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processors.

5. International Micro-Export Transaction

5.1 Customs and Import Duties

The buyer is solely responsible for:

• All customs duties, taxes, and import fees imposed by the destination country
• Compliance with local import regulations and restrictions
• Providing accurate customs information if requested
• Any additional charges imposed by customs authorities

OlivoPaw will provide all necessary export documentation, including commercial invoices and phytosanitary certificates, but cannot be held responsible for customs delays, additional fees, or import restrictions in the buyer's country.

5.2 Customs Classification

Our products are classified under HS Code 4421.99.99 (Other articles of wood). This classification is provided for informational purposes, and the final determination rests with the customs authority of the destination country.

6. Order Processing and Delivery

6.1 Order Confirmation

Upon successful payment, the buyer will receive an order confirmation email containing order details, estimated production time, and shipping information.

6.2 Production Time

Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1-2 business days. Custom engraved orders may require an additional 1 business day for laser engraving.

6.3 Shipping

We ship internationally via express courier services. Delivery times vary by destination but typically range from 5-15 business days. Tracking information will be provided once the order is dispatched.

6.4 Delivery Responsibility

The buyer is responsible for providing accurate shipping information. OlivoPaw is not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect addresses, customs holds, or force majeure events.

7. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

Please refer to our separate Return and Cancellation Policy for detailed information regarding returns, cancellations, and the right of withdrawal.

Important: Customized products with laser engraving are exempt from the standard right of withdrawal as they are made to order according to the buyer's specifications.

8. Buyer Responsibilities

The buyer agrees to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during the ordering process
• Review product specifications and customization details before completing purchase
• Supervise pets during use of the product as recommended in safety guidelines
• Accept responsibility for import duties and customs clearance in their country
• Inspect products upon delivery and report any damage within 48 hours

9. Seller Responsibilities

OlivoPaw agrees to:

• Provide accurate product descriptions and specifications
• Process orders within the stated timeframe
• Use quality materials and craftsmanship in all products
• Package products securely for international shipping
• Provide necessary export documentation
• Respond to customer inquiries within 24-48 hours

10. Limitation of Liability

OlivoPaw's liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Customs delays, fees, or import restrictions
• Misuse of products contrary to safety guidelines
• Natural variations in wood products
• Damage caused by improper supervision of pets

11. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, pandemic, government restrictions, or transportation disruptions.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this agreement shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Turkish courts, specifically the courts of Aydın, Turkey.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data collected during the ordering process is handled in accordance with our Privacy and Security Policy. We comply with GDPR and CCPA regulations for data protection.

14. Amendments

OlivoPaw reserves the right to modify this agreement at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
